UFC 80: Sam Stout vs. Terry Etim

FightNetwork.com has confirmed with Sam Stout (12-3-1) that the lightweight will return to the Octagon to face Terry Etim (10-1) at UFC 80 at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, England .
The event is penciled in to take place on either January 19 or 16.
Stout has back-to-back UFC losses against Spencer Fisher (unanimous decision) and Kenny Florian (submission). His rematch with Fisher at UFC Fight Night 10 back in June, however, has to be among the candidates for top fight of 2007.
Here’s a snip from “Hands of Stone:”
“Right after my last match with Spencer, Dana told me that if they ever have a problem finding an opponent for me, they’ve always got Stout-Fisher III in their back pocket.”
Stout has been busy outside of the UFC, rattling of three wins under the TKO banner as its lightweight champion since his loss to Florian.
Etim — a native of Britain — will look to get back in the win column after dropping a unanimous decision to Gleison Tibau at UFC 75 “Champion vs. Champion” in London last month. He also holds one win inside the Octagon, submitting Matt Grice via submission at UFC 70 “Nations Collide” last April.
